Santasha D. Brown

“Sandi” is a native of Charleston, South Carolina.  She is currently residing in Honolulu, HI.  Second generation of the United States Navy served two tour of duty first tour was stationed at Naval Station (NAVSTA) of Pearl Harbor at Water Transportation as deckhand on both ferry boats running at that time (before the bridge was built), and doing maintenance on both the grey boats and tour boats (for the Arizona Memorial). Worked at Repair Dept. as a supply clerk, and Service Craft on tugboat YTB 806 U.S.S. TUSKEEGEE.

During her second tour Sandi was stationed in San Diego, California Coronado Island on board the U.S.S. JOHN C. STENNIS CVN74 as an Aviation Boatswains Mate Handler (ABHAN). She worked retail for 16+ years and is now attending school full time for an Associate Applied Science degree in Paralegal. Sandi is a member of Order of the Eastern Stars (O.E.S), Disabled American Veterans (D.A.V), Fleet Reserve Association (FRA) and the National Technical Honors Society (NTHS).
