Our CEO and founder, ShaDonna “Mo” McPhaul, has been nominated for the “Rare Life Honor” award in a contest sponsored by Eagle Rare Bourbon. You can read Mo’s nomination, which was submitted by her sister, on the Eagle Rare website.
According to the bourbon maker’s website:
“Eagle Rare Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey has won its share of honors and awards. Now we’re honoring those who share our passion for excellence with The Rare Life Award.
Some nominees are heroic. Some inspirational. Some just make an impact in their corner of the world. But all have one thing in common. They lead rare lives.”
The Grand Prize winner will win 50,000 donated to the charity of their choice by Eagle Rare. Five runners-up will win $5,000 each also donated to the charity of their choice.
We are so proud of Mo and the work she has done for our Veterans, and you can show your appreciation and recognition by voting for her story. Doing so will also help Mo’s story reach the finals of the competition and win that $50,000 Grand Prize for our Veterans. Visit the Eagle Rare Bourbon website and vote today! You can vote every 24 hours so be sure to do so every day until voting ends on January 6, 2015 at 11:59 PM ET .
