Mo’s Heroes sponsored 5 Veterans from the US Vets program to attend the NAACP 2014 MLK Gala. We purchased 5 tickets at $65 per person, the two female Veterans received makeovers, clothes were provided to the Vets who needed, and the transportation to the Gala which was held at the Honolulu Country Club.

Mo’s Heroes participated in the 2014 MLK Parade in Waikiki, HI. A Veteran from US VETS volunteered to drive the car the Founder of “Mo’s Heroes” rode.

Mo’s Heroes held “The Tiffany L. Carter Celebraoke” at Chez’s Bar and Grill. The event was videotaped with the hopes to make a commercial for Mo’s Heroes.

Mo’s Heroes donated lunch to the Next Step Shelter in Waikiki, HI.

Mo’s Heroes hosted “Eat like a Hero” event at US Vets Barber Point in Honolulu.

Mo’s Heroes donated $75 to the Homeless Stand-down Event in Honolulu, HI. We also served pizza provided by Dominos and Free Shaved Ice.

Mo’s Heroes volunteered at Next Step Shelter and donated dinner.

Mo’s Heroes teamed up with VAREP and other VSO to host a Thanksgiving Meal for Veterans and their families. Senator Mazie Hirono showed up and we fed over 100 people. KITV News also covered the story.
